what was once a totally awesome underground sensation on their side of the bridge last year, will now be available for the other side to enjoy this summer during new york's "summer streets." park ave (and connecting streets) will be closed to vehicles on three consecutive saturdays this august to allow for dozens of fun summer activities, including these repurposed swimming pool dumpsters!

this might be a stretch, but how freaking cool would it be to create your OWN dumpster pool?! i'm not sure how time consuming they are to build, but if you had the space to do it, wouldn't it be a fun addition to a backyard? and if you happen to be throwing a backyard wedding, couldn't you picture all of your wedding guests jumping in to cool off after a night of dancing?
