it's amazing how the weather has a tendency to consume conversations. "nasty out there, huh?" or my favorite "gorgeous day, isn't it?"finally, FINALLY, there's been a lot of the latter today.
it is absolutely beautiful here in new york and i think all of us manhattanites deserve to truly enjoy it after the winter we've had.
a year ago, i would've been looking for the best place to sit outside & sip an ice cold beer. nowadays, me and the bambino would settle for an ice cold slushie. we're in luck as the kelvin slush truck will be open this sunday (as a soft opening) and officially open for the season on april 1st. the best part, if you can make it out this sunday, is that 100% of all proceeds will go to the red cross to aid in the relief in japan.
unique flavors + all natural ingredients + sunshine = deliciousness in a cup!
