too cool for school: back to school

i was never, and will never be, this cool. i mean, come on people, striped leggings & ballet flats?! these kids dress better than most adults!

my sis-in-law sent a pic of my nephew getting ready for his first day of school this morning & it got me reminiscing on my own back to school days. shopping for a personalized l.l.bean backpack, picking out a fancy trapper keeper & breaking in a cool new pair of keds.

but nothing as effortlessly cool as these kids.
