there were two things i was certain of when i got engaged
the guy i was going to marry
and that there would be mason jars at my wedding
lots of them
everything else seemed to fall into place
around all the mason jars of course
...and then came baby...

shady ladies: bridesmaid dresses

i had such a tough time finding flattering, affordable, oh & not to mention, PRETTY, dresses for my bridesmaids to showcase on our big day.

i wasn't super picky on the cut or designer, but i knew that i wanted the sunny color yellow. if i hadn't found the pretty gem (and steal!) that i did at the limited, i would have definitely gone the shady route! the different hues compliment each other so well and make for gorgeous portraits.

also, this allows your gals to find a dress that suits them best within their own personal budget. and if you're nervous about giving your ladies too much creative leeway, you could always send them a fabric swatch or pantone card. if you're really fancy, you could put together an inspiration board to give them more guidelines (including jewelery, shoes, hair & makeup)!
