there were two things i was certain of when i got engaged
the guy i was going to marry
and that there would be mason jars at my wedding
lots of them
everything else seemed to fall into place
around all the mason jars of course
...and then came baby...

dear friday,

it's so good to see you again.

i don't know what it is about this week, but i can't seem to get confectionary treats off my mind!

as i've blogged before, the hubs & i kept it simple with a classic wedding cake as it was included in the catering fee & tasted good. for us, that was a no brainer. plus, we've had the opportunity to attend a healthy amount of weddings over the last year or so and have gotten our fair share of the dessert gamut.

my sweet tooth has been loving all the dessert options! pie tables, cookie rooms, chocolate fountains, cotton candy, mini rootbeer floats. honestly, the list goes on & on & on. i had to join a gym just to keep the desserts off my behind!

i've been tempted once or twice before to stick a few cookies in my purse on the way out. a much less embarassing & messy approach would have been cellophane bags. perhaps you can leave cute takeaway bags for your guests? if there's any left : )

any unique dessert ideas? or takehome examples?

off to buy a candy bar.

sincerely yours,

a thousand mason jars
